Stephy has been an integral part of our team since she joined us in late 2020, and we’ve had the privilege of witnessing her remarkable growth and achievements over the past three years.
Since her beginnings as an intern and paralegal in China, Stephy has always been in touch with various areas of law, like criminal law, commercial, wills and estate etc. This led her to travel to Australia to pursue her dreams of becoming a full-fledged lawyer, and being admitted to the Courts of Queensland in 2020. Here, she realised that the matters of family law like divorce, parenting, and property issues particularly held her interest, which solidified her specialty. While there are always formal matters in her daily work like drafting litigious and non-litigious dcouments, Stephy has always possessed a warm countenance when dealing with various sensitive issues her clients bring to her.
Her commitment and compassion extend from her clients to our firm. Auslaw Partners has had the privilege of seeing Stephy blossom from a hardworking paralegal to a committed and ever-eager to learn solicitor, and now stepping into a larger scope of Associate, with a mentoring role too. She is often distilling important issues and providing strategic advice regarding divorce, parenting, and property issues to get the best outcome for the individuals and families she represents. Her juggling between her own family and being a family law associate gives her a deeper understanding of her clients’ needs, and how to react sensitively.
