As a Queensland-based multicultural law firm,  Auslaw Partners encourages international law students with diverse interests and skills, by recognising their value in contributing to the broader community. We would be proud to collaborate with various universities to launch scholarship programs that aim at supporting Queensland’s aspiring law students. We are excitingly awaiting the flourishing international community of Queensland, hoping to contribute to the economic and professional development of the community, by providing scholarships, internships, and case exchange opportunities for talented international law students.

Scholarship Objective

The Auslaw Multicultural Scholarship aims to support financially disadvantaged international law school students, cultivate outstanding individuals, and expand their knowledge and skills. In addition to broadening their horizons, the scholarship provides opportunities for international law students to develop professional social networks and gain practical knowledge and skills that contribute to the sustainable development of the Queensland community.

Scholarship Criteria

Qualified students will receive:

• A lump sum of $2,000 will be directly deposited into their bank account, subject to meeting scholarship conditions
• A 4-week internship (20 working days) at Auslaw Partners Queensland law firm
• Option to participate in entrepreneurial mentorship

Terms and Conditions

1. Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (GDLP) program.
2. The scholarship will be applicable during the semester in which the applicant completes the GDLP internship requirements.
3. Applicants must complete a 4-week internship (20 working days) at one of Auslaw Partners’ firms (Brisbane or Gold Coast office) (not establishing an employment relationship).
4. Applicants must maintain a good academic standing, with a GPA of 5.0 and above.
5. Nominated and shortlisted students will be invited to attend interviews and meet with the selection committee. Applicants will be notified of interview details via respective universities or community unit.
